In the Industry Applications strategic business unit, NORMA Group markets a broad portfolio of standardized branded products, including joining components for infrastructure solutions and applications in the sustainable and renewable energy sector. In addition to its global sales network, the Group continues to utilize sales representatives, dealers, and importers as multipliers. Customers include distributors, specialized wholesalers, do-it-yourself (DIY) stores, smaller industrial sectors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEM). While direct sales have primarily targeted the automotive aftermarket to date, since 2024 NORMA Group has pursued the goal of expanding its OEM business in Industry Applications with customized solutions. The brands ABA®, Breeze®, Clamp-All®, CONNECTORS®, Gemi®, NORMA®, R.G.RAY®, Serflex®, and TORCA® represent technical expertise, high quality, and reliable delivery performance.

The Mobility & New Energy strategic business unit comprises engineered, individually customized joining technology. A key feature is close collaboration with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) through long-term development partnerships. During multi-year project phases, NORMA Group’s central development departments and local teams work together with customers to develop solutions for specific industrial challenges. This customer proximity enables a deep understanding of the end markets and the development of holistic product and system solutions that consider efficiency, performance, weight reduction, and short assembly times. The Mobility business is divided

into the end markets of Light Vehicles (passenger cars) and Heavy Vehicles (commercial vehicles). The New Energy sub-division includes numerous applications for electromobility.

By combining the provision of high-quality, standardized branded products through a global distribution network with its expertise in developing tailor-made solutions for original equipment manufacturers, NORMA Group aims to realize not only cross-selling effects but also synergies in purchasing, production, logistics, and sales. Furthermore, the Group benefits from economies of scale and synergies resulting from the diversity of its product portfolio and high production volumes.

Product portfolio

NORMA Group’s products are divided into the two main categories

FASTEN

and

FLUID

, which overlap strategic business units and segments.

The

FASTEN

range includes metal fastening clamps and joining elements made of unalloyed steels or stainless steel, which are primarily used for joining and sealing hoses as well as metal and thermoplastic pipes.

FLUID

comprises single- and multi-layer thermoplastic connectors and fluid systems that, thanks to their design, enable shorter assembly times, ensure a reliable flow of liquids or gases, and in some cases replace conventional elastomer hoses. The products are used in thermal management systems for hybrid and electric vehicles, in inductive charging systems, and in heat pumps, among other things.

NORMA Group's joining technology is used wherever cables, pipes, hoses, or other systems need to be securely joined. Due to this broad applicability, the company serves numerous end markets, including the automotive, commercial vehicle and aerospace industries, infrastructure and industrial projects, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, as well as agriculture. The products are also increasingly used in the consumer goods sector – for example, in household appliances (white goods).

Although the joining products of NORMA Group represent only a small share of the end product’s value, they are often mission-critical and therefore essential for the quality, performance, and reliability of the overall system. Accordingly, high quality standards and stringent quality management are top priorities. Further success factors include a brand strategy focused on regional growth targets, high service quality, and broad product availability ensured by the global sales network.
