The strategy and specific targets in the areas of corporate responsibility and environmental, social and governance (ESG) are explained in particular in the consolidated non-financial statement of NORMA Group SE. In the course of the growing importance of these topics, the Supervisory Board, Management Board and employees of NORMA Group are devoting more attention than ever to the resulting implications for NORMA Group’s business activities. NORMA Group’s Mobility & New Energy business unit is increasingly focusing on new products and solutions for alternative drive systems as part of the mobility transition to alternative drive systems.

The Supervisory Board’s Strategy Committee deals specifically with the effects of climate change.

The development of NORMA Group’s CO2 emissions compared to a defined target corridor has been a component of Management Board remuneration at NORMA Group since 2020. The development and management of CO2 emissions is a regular topic at Supervisory Board and Management Board meetings.

CFO Annette Stieve is responsible for Corporate Responsibility and ESG on the Management Board.
