The personnel-related liabilities fall within the scope of IAS 19, “Employee Benefits”, and also include bonuses in connection with short-term profit-sharing schemes. These are based on the achievement of corporate targets (earnings targets [such as EBIT], cash flow targets, revenue growth) and on personal targets of the respective employee.
NORMA Group has received government grants, whereby EUR 397 thousand have not yet been received. They consist of grants in cash as well as land. The grants are tied, among other things, to investments, the hiring of employees, and the provision of equity to the affected local companies. Potential repayments of the grants received would arise if the subsidized investments were sold early.
NORMA Group recognizes the grants as income in the period in which the expenses are incurred. In fiscal year 2025, EUR 349 thousand was received in this connection (2024: EUR 253 thousand), which also resulted from government grants in connection with the reimbursement of personnel expenses and export subsidies.
