Non-financial key figures

CO2 emissions

Compliance with applicable environmental protection regulations and the avoidance of environmental risks are key priorities for NORMA Group. Compliance with environmental standards is ensured in production. The Company also makes ambitious contributions in the areas of climate, water, and waste management. The sustainable reduction of CO2 emissions at the global sites is a core aspiration for NORMA Group. The non-financial indicator in this regard is CO2 emissions, which have been a target figure for determining part of the long-term Management Board remuneration (ESG LTI) since 2020. For the 2026 fiscal year, the target was set to avoid a total of 700 tons of GHG emissions. This target relates to NORMA Group production facilities and includes both Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (market-based).

Crucial efficiency measures were implemented infirst six months of 2026, with their full 12-month reduction/avoidance effect amounting to a total of 197 tons of CO2 equivalents (H1 2025: 907).

 

Recordable incident rate

Occupational health and safety is a high priority for NORMA Group. The aim is to achieve a sustained reduction in occupational accidents by providing a safe working environment and implementing ongoing prevention and training measures. Alongside CO₂ emissions, the recordable incident rate is one of the non-financial indicators monitored by the Company.

In first six months of 2026 the recordable incident rate was 3.5, below the prior-year figure (H1 2025: 4.5). The improvement reflects NORMA Group’s continued focus on occupational health and safety.
