Implementation of the NewNORMA transformation continues

In the first six months of 2026, NORMA Group continued to systematically implement the NewNORMA transformation launched in 2025. The focus was on simplifying the organizational structure, sustainably improving the cost base, and a sales push to boost profitable growth.

A key focus was on streamlining the organization. Implementation of the voluntary separation program in Germany, which had already been approved in fiscal year 2025, began in the first half of 2026. The voluntary separation program, designed to reduce around 70 positions in a socially responsible manner, was completed ahead of schedule. The planned reduction of around 330 positions outside Germany is also progressing as planned and slightly ahead of the original schedule. The effects of the workforce reduction will be reflected gradually in headcount over the remainder of the year, in line with the agreed departure dates. The measures are intended to sustainably reduce the personnel cost base and thus improve the cost structure. The remaining measures will be implemented gradually over the course of the year and are intended to contribute to a permanently leaner overhead structure. The provisions required for these measures had largely already been recognized in fiscal year 2025.

At the same time, NORMA Group continued preparations to manage the business more closely through the strategic business units Industry Applications and Mobility & New Energy. Sales and development were more closely integrated to address customer requirements more effectively and make development processes more efficient. NORMA Group also further expanded its central service functions and enhanced the capacity of the Shared Service Center in Novi Sad.

NORMA Group’s sales push is specifically strengthening new business. The Company’s sharper focus on its two strategic business units is also expected to enable production to be managed more closely in line with market and customer demand and to improve capacity utilization across its plants. This is intended to strengthen the Group’s competitiveness, profitable growth, and earning power on a lasting basis.

Industry Applications achieves business success in industrial growth markets

The Industry Applications strategic business unit won new projects in the first six months of 2026. Key new business wins include orders for data centers in Malaysia and other projects in Thailand and Australia. In addition, NORMA Group secured new orders for applications in battery storage systems and energy infrastructure.

The projects secured underscore the growing commercial strength of Industry Applications and confirm NewNORMA’s focus on attractive industrial growth markets.

Mobility & New Energy secures major orders in the premium segment

NORMA Group also recorded significant business wins in the Mobility & New Energy strategic business unit in the first six months of 2026. This includes a major order from a global automotive manufacturer for the development, series production, and supply of complex cooling water systems for future vehicle platforms. With a total order value of around EUR 150 million over the contract term, this is the largest single order in NORMA Group’s history.
